Jeff Lawrence

Jeff Lawrence

Jeff Lawrence is the founder and director of Laughing Buddha Comedy (LBC),

As a comedian, Jeff has regularly worked with Jim Gaffigan, Janeane Garofalo, Todd Barry, and Gilbert Gottfried among others. He's appeared on MTV Europe, NBC, The Grammy Awards with Bob Dylan, and Behind the Music as well as performing in numerous festivals including the NY Comedy FestivalThe Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, and The NY Underground Comedy Festival.  His sarcastic wit, and biting cynicism, combined with his musical comedy exploits have led him to perform in global destinations such as Buenos Aires, Montreal, the Greek Islands, Barcelona, and Goa, India. He has been heard on Playboy Radio, Sirius, the Dr. Fritz Radio Show, Mancow Radio, and hundreds of college stations across the country. He is also a regular at many of NYC’s top comedy venues, and is always working, honing and practicing his craft. 

As an instructor, he’s been featured on the front pages of the Wall St. Journal and the Tampa Bay Times, the school was also branded by Rachael Ray Magazine, as “Outlandishly Cool”.  Jeff has worked with the top bookers and agencies including Roger Paul Inc., Authentic Talent Mgmt., Avanti Talent Management, and booked auditions for the David Letterman Show. He has helped countless comics develop and nurture their acts for the road, commercials, TV, film, reality TV, and hosting appearances.  He believes in letting comics be themselves, helping them to develop their voice, and encouraging them to take risks. His favorite saying is “Leave your ego at the door!”

JOHN REYNOLDS

We are excited to have Emmy award winning writer John Reynolds join our staff at LBC. John was a WGA Award nominated staff writer on Comedy Central’s The President Show and wrote and performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson for Six years, as well as Colbert.

He’s written for the MTV Awards where he wrote sketches for Conan, Adam Sandler, and Cameron Diaz among others. John is also an original member of the UCB Theater’s weekend team, “Reuben Williams,” and still performs at the UCBT in LA and NY.

On the “Late Late Show,” Reynolds’ monologue jokes often made the weekly “best of late night” lists. In addition, he wrote and produced many sketches for the show, creating new characters for Craig as well as writing material for the likes of Steve Martin, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Lennon, Jim Parsons, Jeffrey Tambor, Henry Winkler, Mary Steenburgen, Dave Foley, and author, Salman Rushdie.

John has developed pilots and various other projects over the past few years with CBS, NBC, Fox, Gary Sanchez, Conaco, History Channel and the Disney Channel, and is very excited to work with our network.

Laura High

Laura High is a New York actor and comedian. She received her B.A. in Theatre Performance from Nazareth College. Laura has had lead roles on TV shows, and national commercials. Laura performs stand-up comedy. Laura has been featured on the New York Comedy Festival and won the 'Broadly Funny' Divison at the 360 Stand Up Festival. Laura is a rising content creator. Laura has gone viral several times on TikTok and her following has grown exponentially in a short amount of time. Laura writes, produces, and edits all of her own work.


KEVIN DOMBROWSKI

Kevin Dombrowski is a standup comedian that constantly finds himself in the wrong place at the right time for comedy.

A regular around the New York comedy circuit, Kevin has been seen multiple times on The Artie Lange Show on DirecTV, Comedy Time TV, and The Wendy Williams Show.

Kevin has been cast in a series of Geico SportsNite Commercials, entitled ‘The House Of Fans’ as the ‘Yankee Fan’, circulating on SNY and other networks.

A regular on the Artie Quitter Podcast (Artie Lange’s Uncensored Podcast), Kevin has also been heard on Laughin’ and Livin’ with Carlos Mencia and Friends (Carlos Mencia’s Podcast), The Joe and Scott in the Morning Radio Show, as well as numerous other podcasts and radio programs around the country.

Kevin has been featured in several comedy festivals and competitions, including numerous times in the annual March Comedy Madness standup competition at the legendary Carolines On Broadway.

Kevin has performed with such acts as Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, and Colin Quinn.

When not performing at the top comedy clubs, casinos, and colleges around the country, you can catch Kevin opening up regularly for Carlos Mencia on the road.


Gina Brillon was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. The Puerto Rican actress, comedian, writer (and new mom!) has been a standup comic since she was 17 years old. Her Gracie award winning 1 hour special Gina Brillon: The Floor is Lava is now available on Amazon Prime Video, along with her first one hour special, Pacifically Speaking.  She performs in the HA Festival: The Art of Comedy on HBO Max. Her 1/2 hour special Easily Offended was one of the top shows from the Entre Nos franchise on HBO Latino, and streams on all HBO Digital Platforms.  She’s made appearances on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, E!’s Chelsea Lately, The View, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel Live. You have seen her on Kevin Can Wait on CBS and The Conners on ABC.

In 2012, she became the first (and only) Latina winner of NBC’s Stand up for Diversity Showcase. The following year, she was a “New Face” at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. Gina is a singer, published writer, and poet.  Her pieces have appeared in the New York Post and Daily News, among others. In 2019, she featured on Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias’ “Beyond the Fluffy Tour” - hitting 46 cities around the US. She was a top 5 finalist on Season 16 on America's Got Talent (AGT).  You can find her podcast Mess In Progress on iTunes. Gina and co-host Katherine G.
